It seems that we have Bundesliga instead of La Liga this year on Fox in the Philippines. I enjoyed La Liga last year however watching all the Australian, Japanese and Korean players jog out almost every match is superb.
Dortmund looked great the other day against Hertha, Kagawa was everywhere. Stuttgardt really need Langerak and Kruse (assuming that loan deal has happened), it should be a fertile ground for the Aussies. They were down to their 3rd keeper on the weekend. Muto looked great with Mainz, he could be the next Okazaki.
All good fun and all happening in Germany!

It will be an interesting season.
What do you say if you’ve just scored a hat-trick on your comeback after knee surgery and a five-month injury break, and 51,500 people are shouting your name in rhythmic intervals, proclaiming you as their deity..?

Raphael Honigstein's viewBloody Bayern win again...
Despite Bayern’s third title procession in as many years, TV ratings and crowds were up last season (average attendance was 42,685, the second-highest in the league’s history). It does not make too much of a difference if there are 18 or 17 teams in competition. There is plenty of hope and fear to go around to keep everyone hooked.

The coach is Austrian and he also has a couple of Austrians (national team players) in the squad so he gets a bit of attention over here.

Bayern finally drop some points with a 0-0 against Eintracht Frankfurt. A great game from Hasebe who played a key role in negating the Bayern midfield. He really is benefiting from his move from Wolfsburg.

Supporters’ behaviour dominating the headlines usually signifies a most unwelcome story. And it was no different this weekend, with bad news – two deaths and local elections that resembled a blocked Autobahn services toilet, bringing plenty of stinky, brown stuff to the fore – all around. But the considered way that fans, so often derided as unthinking lemmings, reacted to these personal and collective tragedies was truly remarkable.

From what Ive noticed german clubs seem to have some political agendas thrown in for good measure which would normally be a recipe for disaster but they seem to manage it well.
My only experience with german fans was a bundi 2 match fsv frankfurt vs st pauli and they were incredibly positive.
I was sitting at a mcdonalds in the central station of frankfurt wearing a frankfurt scarfe and a st pauli teen asked me to watch his bag while he ordered his meal which kinda really shocked me someone would be so trusting of a 20 something wearing his opponents colours,
The other experience that day was we were struggling to find the right train and connection for the stadium. Again we were in fsv colours and a group of 4 st pauli guys purchased us drinks and showed us to the ground. I would probably class then as what ever the german equivalent to an ultra is. They had not heard of leckie, though leckie scored the only goal of that match.
The only time ife seen any antisocial behaviour at european games would be in serie a, dont get me wrong we get treated amazingly well. But the rascism in the stands is terrible.
To be totally honest i cant see how either scenario would play out in australia
Ppl who slap the label of truth on the 1st thing they hear, do it out of ignorance, convenience or cant be bothered picking through a thin layer of falsehood to find the real truth, or possibly even another lie

Maybe we're all a bit more "politically interested" over here.
There was a hit play here about SC Hakoah Wien in 2015.
SC Hakoah were the Jewish sports club founded in 1909 here in Vienna which was liquidated and it's playing grounds "Aryanised" in 1938 by the Nazis.
Hakoah Wien won the first Austrian professional football championship in 1924/25.
