RIP Les :'(
He's been such a huge part of the football landscape it's hard to imagine the game in Aus without him.

All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Goodbye Les and thank you for the great work you did.

At some point, though it’s hard to say exactly when, the late Les Murray became a cult figure in the Australian sporting landscape.

Les Murray, the former football broadcaster, has died aged 71.
Regarded by many as the voice of Australian football, Murray had been battling a long-term illness, according to his long-term employer SBS.

Re: R.I.P. Les Murray
So sad to lose the great man. As much an icon of my youth as the late Richie Benaud. He will be missed.
Hopefully the FFA will allow his legacy to live on thru Southern Expansion.

Anyone with links to the RA know if they're going to be doing a tribute at the Cup game?
