I would like there to be no religion mentioned in threads out side the off-topic section, EdDog has expressed similar sentiment as well.

Sevengoals opened the current jamboree thread by mentioning a religious festival, I would like to see that never happen again. it just derails the thread and causes disagreement.

Festive cheer, regardless of the festival, is within the rules of the forum.
